Wedding Photography in York

I could literally give a million reasons why York is my favourite city to photograph a wedding in! Wedding photography in York is a dream! Not only is York beautiful every which way you turn, but it is such a walkable city! There are so many couples opting for a small intimate city wedding in York, and I’m here for it and ready to create wedding photographs for that chic, stylish micro wedding in York!

Wedding photography in York

Not only does York have beautiful streets, and stunning architecture for the beackdrop to your wedding photographs, it also has York Museum Gardens! The gardens are open to the public so they can be busy, but they are a short walk from York Registry Office so I regularly use them as a starting point for couple’s shots in the city. I’ve even done family group shots in York Museum Gardens before too. They are so pretty and are even more spectacular at Golden hour like the image above!

By far my most favourite wedding photographs in York are from simply walking round the city. This is my favourite way to get couple’s photographs too – it’s a really relaxed way of doing your couple’s shoot, no posing, no pressure, just me taking candid photographs of you walking round the city of York!
