My favourite season for weddings is Autumn, and an Autumn wedding at Middleton Lodge is something really special! This is my second time as a wedding photographer at Middleton Lodge and it didn’t disappoint – in fact I’ve wanted to see the Walled garden next to The Fig House in all it’s Autumnal glory for ages! It was quite simply beautiful!
Lisa and Luke wanted to have an intimate, relaxed wedding at The Fig House Middleton Lodge in Autumn with their favourite people around them. They wanted to be comfortable and they wanted to be relaxed – this is why they decided to do a first look before the wedding ceremony. Traditionally a first look with the person you’re about to marry is more of an American tradition, but it’s becoming popular here too. I find it really takes the pressure out of the pre ceremony time, which can be a nervous time. Once you see the person you are about to marry, you instantly become more relaxed, and more ready and confident too. Maybe worth considering for your wedding – especially when you can do it somehwhere as beautiful as the Walled Garden at Middleton Lodge!
I lovely photographing weddings at The Fig House at Middleton Lodge, because everywhere you look, it is beautiful! The decor doesn’t need anything, a few flowers and it comes to life like no other wedding venue!
