Emily and Joe wanted an alternative wedding in Leeds and they planned the most incredible wedding the city of Leeds has seen! Emily LOVES books and I mean she really loves books! So when she first came across The Leeds Library she was absolutely certain she wanted to get married there! It turns out that you can actually get married in this hidden gem of a library right in the city centre of Leeds! So hidden in fact, I’ve lived in Leeds most of my life and I did not know it was there!
Rumours have it the library is haunted and there have been several sightings of the ghost during wedding ceremonies around the balcony that looks over the space below. Eeeeeee! Unfortunately I didn’t spot anything on Emily and Joe’s wedding as I was simply in awe of how beautiful their wedding ceremony was! The perfect and most unique backdrop to the wedding of two very cool people!
Then……they went to party at Project House!
Project House in Leeds is the perfect venue for a wedding party! It is all the space you need for long tables, a dancefloor, a stage, a great bar serving really good local beer ( a must in my humble opinion ) and a great outdoor space for a city venue! I’ve been to a couple of gigs at Project House and it never struck me as a tradtionally wedding venue, and it isn’t! Maybe that’s what is so great about it!
Looking for a wedding venue in Leeds that’s out of the ordinary? Check out Project House!
