Chic city wedding Leeds Civic Hall

Helena and Alex booked me for their city wedding at Leeds Civic Hall as they wanted a low key, relaxed wedding and they wanted the photographer to match! Luckily, city weddings in Leeds are my favourite and I shoot loads of them every year. Micro weddings, city elopements, even small intimate wedding ceremonies at Leeds Civic Hall and then a big party afterwards, which is exactly what Helena and Alex wanted!

I started the day with Helena getting ready at home in Leeds. She was surrounded by her close family and she was as calm as a cucumber 🙂 This is the best thing when you chose the wedding you want – no pressure. She wanted a laid back wedding ceremony with her close family and friends so there was no stress in any part of the day. I’m a huge fan of planning the wedding you want, no stress, a lovley relaxed wedding day with your nearest and dearest!

I then went ahead to Leeds Civic Hall to meet Alex and their guests. They had their ceremony upstairs at Leeds Civic Hall which was BEAUTIFUL! The room is so much prettier than the room downstairs! They then went to have a micro wedding reception at The Cross Keys, a big feast of delicious food and speeches with just 20 people.

In the evening they had a huge party with all of their friends and extended families at The Faversham and they had the party of a lifetime!
